For as long as I can remember, fitness has been a central part of who I am. I’ve spent years training to compete in sports from golf to Ironman triathlons, always enjoying the process. Realizing the wonderful benefits of strength and endurance has fueled me, and adding yoga has been the perfect complement to my training.
Practicing yoga is the evolution of me as an athlete, and it’s brought endless benefits. In fact, without exaggeration, yoga has been transformative. Embracing the powerful mind/body aspects of yoga has enabled me to maintain strength and build flexibility and stability, all while instilling mindful habits that make everything I do so much better. My hope is that by practicing with me you will realize similar benefits.
As my focus drifts away from athletic pursuits, it moves toward achieving optimal health and wellness. The wellness space is buzzing with the concept of healthspan. Today I'm making it my mission to take a deep dive into this exciting field and incorporate those strategies and tactics into my personal training sessions, yoga, and fitness classes.
Mind and body fitness is essential for a well-lived, balanced and healthy life. You will find both energy and calm in every one of my sessions, where we can share some space in the journey to our best lives.
