Katie Ford, RYT 200
Yoga came into my life during a period of significant transition and was instrumental in helping me navigate that time. I found that yoga helped me in managing my anxiety and became the game changer of an off or bad day. I found my focus, strength, patience, confidence, and inner awareness growing and deepening. Yoga is now a part of my daily routine whether practicing pranayama (breathwork), asanas (physical poses), and/or meditation.
First being a student at Mandala Moon yoga studio for about a year when YTT came up, and it was an easy decision for me. What better way to deepen my own practice than learning how to teach! When my classes began, deepening my practice was my primary goal but quickly I felt a change and my goal transitioned to a call to teach. I began to feel the transformation from student to teacher and to share with others the peace and bliss that yoga can bring to each day. I am now a proud graduate of the class of 2023 at Mandala Moon Yoga School and couldn’t have asked for a better teacher in Dena Beratta.
Because yoga has been so important for me in cultivating mental wellness, my goal is to create and provide classes that may help students navigate through some of those mental health challenges. On those bad days (and the good ones!), everyone could use a mood booster, and my goal is to help facilitate that mood boost.
